Earlier today, Microsoft conducted a launch event where it unveiled new gear and devices. The business unveiled the new Microsoft Surface Pro 9 convertible as one of the new goods (laptop-to-tablet PC). The laptop offers additional color options along with minor upgrades in comparison to the Surface Pro 8. Let’s examine the device in greater depth now.

Microsoft Surface Pro 9 specifications

To begin with, the Surface Pro 9 keeps the same 13-inch display as its predecessor, including its 2,880 x 1,920 resolution, 120 Hz, and 3:2 aspect ratio. It has updated Alder Lake-U processors and weighs about 879 grams.

Both the Core i5-1235U and Core i7-1255U processors are compatible with the device. A base 15W power draw is required by these processors. The business has 28 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB of portable storage options, and RAM options for the device include 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The Surface Pro 9 supports both the Surface Connect connector and Windows Hello facial identification as usual. Microsoft included two USB Type-C ports (USB 4.0/Thunderbolt 4) with the Surface Pro 9, but it does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Surface Pro 9’s 47.7 Wh battery is expected to last up to 15:30 hours, according to Microsoft, however, this is an extremely optimistic battery estimate. The predicted hues of Platinum, Sapphire, Forest, and Graphite are all offered with the Surface Pro 9.
