Having launched the new Surface Pro 7 Plus, Microsoft has been pretty silent about its new products and now the new device has been spotted on Geekbench as well by @TUM_APISAK. It has been spotted with the Intel Core i7-1165G7 and it posts some serious results especially for a thin and light Surface device.
The new Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus brings Intel’s latest 11th Gen processors, a bigger battery, removable SSD, and LTE connectivity to the new and refreshed device. It features a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display with a 2736 x 1824) resolution and comes with a single USB-C port, a USB-A port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the Surface Connect port.
The Intel Core i7-1165G7 is paired with 16GB RAM and it posts an impressive 1560 single-core score whereas for multi-threaded score the CPU scores an impressive 5690 points. This kind of quad-core score can even put a six core Ryzen 5 5500U to shame that comes with 6 cores and 12 threads.
Tiger Lake chips are quite efficient and a lot better than last-gen as well as its Intel Xe graphics is lot better than dedicated MX350 graphics or even AMD’s integrated Vega graphics. This is more evident from the scores posted by the Surface Pro 7 Plus and that amount of graphics promises a lot better overall performance as well.
