Micromax is officially back in the smartphone business. The brand has launched the successor to the IN Note 1, the Micromax IN Note 2. The new device comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear.
The device will be available for purchase from Flipkart and Micromaxinfo.com from the 30th of January at 12 PM. As part of an introductory offer, Micromax is pricing the IN Note 2 at a discounted price of 12,490 INR. It comes in two distinct color options, both having a metallic finish.
Let us take a detailed look at the specs of the Micromax IN Note 2:
The Micromax IN Note 2 features a 6.43″ Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio with a peak brightness of 550 nits. Micromax has provided a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass protection over the display.
The IN Note 2 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset that is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB UFS 3.1 storage. There is a provision to expand the storage all the way up to 256GB via a microSD card.
The Micromax IN Note 2 has a quad-camera setup on the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device has a 16MP selfie camera that is integrated into the punch-hole setup.
In terms of connectivity options available, the Micromax IN Note 2 will support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
You get a sizeable 5,000mAh battery along with support for 30W fast charging. Micromax claims that the battery can go from 0 to 50% in a matter of 25 minutes. The IN Note 2 measures 159.9 x 74.3 x 8.34mm and weighs 250g.
