Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition Will be the First Game to Support DualSense Controller on PC

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition

Players can now use their PS5 DualSense controller on PC, credit goes to the developers on Metro Exodus over at 4A Games. Now it’s been more than a few months that the PS5 controller has worked on Steam, but making the haptics work hasn’t been at the top in the lists of many developers. The number of PC Gamers owning a haptic controller is probably still quite low.

Recently after the hotfix, the haptics is now on for Metro players, with all the feedback and the DualSense’s adaptive triggers on the display. Still, it is not very clear that Metro Exodus is the first PC game to feature the PS5 controller’s haptics up and running, but certainly, it is the first high-profile game which gonna do so.

It was first reported on Twitter by Donny, who shared the video where the DualSense controller has been shown with adaptive trigger and haptic feedback in action. It is very satisfying to see the DualSense fully supported, though it is not directly via PlayStation.

If you want to check this out, you need to have a copy of Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition for PC from Steam. This needs a GPU capable of ray tracing, basically one of the high-end graphics cards, or you will not be able to play the game.

Jim Ryan from PlayStation has informed that more PS games are coming to the PC. As we have already seen Horizon Zero Dawn and recently released Days Gone for PC, and more are coming. Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition will be also launched on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 in June 2021.
