Bae Suzy is trading solo romance for something far more unconventional — one queen, five consorts, and a murder mystery she has to solve before her throne collapses. “Men of the Harem” is shaping up to be one of 2027’s most talked-about K-dramas.
What Is “Men of the Harem” About?
Adapted from the web novel by Alpha Tart, the historical fantasy follows Latil, a woman scorned by her lover and thrust into power after her father’s mysterious assassination. To secure her sovereignty, she doesn’t pick one husband — she chooses five young men from across society to join her Royal Harem, all while trying to solve her father’s murder and keep the peace at court.
The series is directed by Lee Eung Bok, known for Sweet Home, and produced by Studio Dragon.
