The new devices showcase a refreshed design, featuring flat edges and distinctive rear camera layouts. The standard Note 16 will have an octagonal camera module with an ancient Chinese architecture-inspired design, and the Note 16 Pro will have a circle-shaped setup. Both will feature a ring LED flash to add a contemporary look to them.
One of the key highlights of the Note 16 series is the introduction of Flyme AIOS 2, designed to deliver a more polished and efficient experience on affordable smartphones. Meizu’s design philosophy around this line of products seems to be comfort and balance. The Note 16 Pro will have a symmetrical body with ultra-thin 1.45mm narrow bezels, while the Note 16 will come with a 2.5D curve on the side and a 3D curve on the rear cover, offering a more comfortable, grippy, and ergonomic feel.
According to the information, the Meizu Note 16 will come with a 6.78-inch punch-hole LCD with 2460×1080p resolution. The device will be powered by the Unisoc T765 SoC, and it offers a 50MP primary sensor, coupled with a 2MP sensor and an 8MP selfie shooter. The other specifications possibly are 12GB RAM, LPDDR4X, 6600mAh, 40W fast charging, and a side-mounted clickable button, maybe for some AI function. The Meizu Note 16 series is supposed to be a high-spec phone with a low price, aiming at people who have a limited budget.
