According to the poster, the Meizu Note 16 series will launch in China in April 2025. The series will primarily be budget-driven, with better specs, though with some AI features onboard as well, according to Meizu. Also, it mentions that it has sold more than 30 million Note series to date. Alongside the Note 16 series, Meizu has also revealed the launch window for its 22 flagship series. The Meizu 22 series, as had been rumored earlier, will be in the Chinese market in summer 2025. AI features will also be one of the premium series’ main offerings, making it even more compelling.

According to speculations, the upcoming Meizu 22 series will also have small-screen and large-screen variants, which are likely called the Meizu 22 and Meizu 22 Pro. It is reported that these devices will be equipped with flat display panels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and support car-machine interconnection. The rear of the vehicles can also be observed featuring a white rear panel along with an AI Key that will allow new features that will be software-based.

With the launch schedules now confirmed, Meizu may begin teasing these upcoming smartphones in the coming weeks. As the company builds anticipation for its latest offerings, more details on specifications, features, and pricing might surface. While the Meizu Note 16 series is designed for budget-conscious people and the 22 flagship series is for the premium user, Meizu wanted to do one thing for everyone. It could strengthen its presence in the market and compete against other Chinese smartphone makers with the brand’s strategy.
