Meizu is getting ready to reveal its flagship smartphone, the Meizu 21 Pro on February 29 in China. The company’s focus on integrating AI into its plans hints that the 21 Pro could be an addition, to Meizu’s lineup of top-tier phones. Official confirmation from Meizu states that the Meizu 21 Pro will feature a 6.79-inch display with a mTouch Max in-display fingerprint scanner. Notably, the phone is designed for one use with its aspect ratio. Moreover, the fingerprint sensor is anticipated to have a scanning area, which will improve speed. As per leaks by tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) the AMOLED LTPO panel of the Meizu 21 Pro is expected to offer a 2K resolution and may support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will drive the performance of the Meizu 21 Pro along with 16 GB of RAM. While specifics about storage capacity have not been disclosed yet the standard Meizu 21 model comes in configurations with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage suggesting that the Pro version might offer storage options reaching, up to 1 TB.
DCS also shared that the Meizu 21 Pro is set to come with a 50-megapixel camera possibly making use of the OV50H OmniVision sensor.
