At a special launch event today in China, Meizu successfully unveiled the Meizu 21, their most recent Android flagship smartphone. The Meizu 20 from last year has been replaced by this gadget, which sports the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 200 MP primary camera, and 80W fast charging.
Meizu 21 specifications and pricing details in China
With a few minor adjustments, the gadget maintains the general appearance of its predecessor. It is powered by Qualcomm’s newest flagship processor. Both the camera and the battery receive upgrades.
A 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution is a feature of the Meizu 21. With auto mode, the screen can produce up to 1,100 nits of peak brightness and has symmetrical 1.74mm side and top bezels. The phone is available from Meizu in the following colors: black, purple, green, and white. The latter option also has color-matched white screen bezels, which is unusual.
The 13MP ultrawide lens is housed in the second cutout, while a 5MP portrait camera is housed in the third. Additionally, you’ll notice the RGB ring flash, which has a toggle that allows notifications to display a predefined color or pattern. Meizu 21 has a 4,800 mAh battery with 80W rapid charging and is rated IP54 as well.
The pricing of the Meizu 21 in China is CNY 3,399 ($480) for the 8/256GB trim and CNY 3,999 ($565) for the 12/512GB trim. With all Meizu 21 phones, Meizu has also confirmed that it will provide an extended 36-month warranty. Open sales begin on December 5.
