Mbappe’s Condition has Reached a Critical Juncture

The KylianMbappe transfer story is nearing its conclusion, and tensions are at an all-time high. With Lionel Messi’s arrival at Paris Saint-Germain, the French club now has to free up some salary space, and the 22-year-old is still linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe, who was whistled by PSG fans during the team’s presentation ahead of the new season, will break his silence about his future on Monday, according to the Italian newspaper La GazzettaDello Sport.

Real Madrid is willing to pursue the player, but it doesn’t mean they’ll succeed, and Florentino Perez will have to use all of his persuasion skills to persuade Paris Saint-Germain to let their young star leave.

Mbappe won’t sign a new deal

Mbappe hasn’t said anything about it publicly, but PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and coach Mauricio Pochettino are both aware that he has no plans to extend his current contract, which runs out on June 30, 2022. The club offered Mbappe a six-year contract with a wage comparable to Neymar’s, but he declined.

He understands that he will be the focal point of Real Madrid and would love to relocate there this summer. PSG does not want him to leave for the time being, but others within the club believe it would be better to cash in this summer rather than lose him for nothing in a year.

Pressure from the PSG

PSG is putting a lot of pressure on Mbappe, as they keep putting more and more appealing offers on the table. The PSG players are also doing everything they can to persuade him to stay, with Neymar working tirelessly to retain him in Paris, while newcomers Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi have expressed their desire for him to stay.

The club’s fans’ taunts and whistles are a glimpse of what this season could be like if he doesn’t sign a new contract, and some have argued that a stint on the bench could be a method to put further pressure.

Real Madrid will make an offer

This summer, Real Madrid is waiting for the proper opportunity to sign KylianMbappe. They feel they are prepared to make an offer and have the financial means to draught an appropriate contract.

Los Blancos are holding off on making a move until tensions between the player and PSG are at an all-time high. The transfer will be friendly, but the French club is aware that one team, Real Madrid, is willing to offer a significant sum for a player who will be out of contract in a year.

The next 14 days will be crucial, as Real Madrid might take a huge step towards bringing in one of the world’s most promising talents. They’ll bring Mbappe in this summer if they can get him.
