Netflix has now dropped one of the much-awaited trailers of the documentary show Stan Lee. The full name of Stan Lee is Stanley Martin Lieber. Stan Lee played a pivotal role in revolutionizing the comic book industry.

Following the announcement of his 100th birthday, Stan Lee is going to document the career of one of the popular comic book industry’s most prolific names. The man was born in 1922, Lee grows up during the Great Depression with few amount of money to spare, but the man had never given up and continued with what little he had to immerse himself in reading; he shares in the trailer “I would read everything I could get my hands on… and man, I felt as though I could go anywhere.”  

First, he started as an editorial assistant with Marvel in 1939, back while it was known as Timely Comics, Lee become famous for re-creating characters like the Fantastic Four, alongside Jack Kirby, and the show has propelled Marvel Comics to new heights of popularity. After this Lee was not turned back, Lee visited to co-create the characters like Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and the X-Men. He also gave the birth of Daredevil with Bill Everett and worked with Steve Ditko to create Doctor Strange and, definitely Spider-Man. All the above character has still made a huge craze among the fans. 

Now, Marvel became a larger household through cinematic adaptations of its properties, and now the creator of the characters Lee’s profile will get a new life. The incredible documentary has been produced by David Gelb, Brian McGinn, and Jason Sterman, and developed by Supper Club alongside Marvel Studios, and the director is David Gelb.  Genius Brands International has served as a co-executive producer. Andy Heyward, the Chairman and CEO of Genius Brands have unlocked that they were “thrilled to celebrate Stan Lee’s 100th birthday” with the announcement of the documentary, calling Lee a “cultural icon” and his story “fascinating”. The film features Stan Lee himself with his self-archive footage.
