Marvel’s Midnight Suns are one of the most-awaited Marvel Games. Is a smart tactical game from the studio behind some of the top strategic games ever. This Marvel game is from XCOM developer Firaxis a match-made strategy in heaven. As per the sources, the launch date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns, which was featured in the brand-new teaser for their next strategy game, was revealed at the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase at the 2022 D23 Expo by XCOM developer Firaxis Games.
The game’s release date was delayed indefinitely beginning in the first week of August of this year. The game will now be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on December 2, 2022, as originally planned.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Plot
New gameplay clips from the upcoming game were shown in the new trailer, along with a number of the Marvel characters you’ll be able to battle alongside, including Spider-Man, Wolverine, Blade, Captain America, and Doctor Strange, among others.
It is currently uncertain when versions of the game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch because those versions of the game were previously stated to be coming at a later date. Current-gen devices like the PS5 and Series X/S do, however, have a release date.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns are based on The Rise of the Midnight Sons crossover storyline from Marvel Comics and were created by Firaxis Games, well-known for creating game franchises such as Civilization and XCOM, and published by 2K Games. It casts players in the role of The Hunter, a brand-new hero who is revived by the titular organization to aid in the battle against their mother Lilith, the Mother of All Demons. We are going to see the characters Blade, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Oron Man, Magik, Nico Minoru, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, and Wolverine.
Firaxis also confirmed about the four new characters are Deadpool, Morbius, Storm, and Venom.
With 12 of them being playable with The Hunter at the game’s launch and more to be added, you’ll be faced with assembling a team of some of Marvel’s most potent and famous heroes from Marvel franchises like Avengers to the Runaways.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Launch Date
Midnight Suns was initially scheduled for release in March of this year but was postponed to the second half of 2022 in late November 2021 after being first revealed during the 2021 Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. Firaxis stated that the previously indicated indefinite delay of the game from August was due to their desire to provide the finest experience for its fans.
The game will feature the well-known Firaxis strategic gameplay along with a brand-new card system that will provide you with a range of actions that can be taken at the beginning of each turn. The game will also have a hub area where players can engage in dialogues and side quests with some of their favorite Marvel heroes.
A release date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC has been confirmed for December 2, 2022; releases for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch are still to be announced. Check out the newest trailer for the game’s release date down above.
