Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be a strictly single-player game with no-DLC’s

It was several years ago when we heard the rumors of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game in development. It was rumored that the studio Eidos Montreál is working on the title. And now, finally, the game is ready to be launched on October 26th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X.

So here are some details about the game, firstly, in this game, you play as Star-Lord, the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. But, you won’t be able to switch between the group’s characters at all times. According to sources, players will get to make some decisions as Star-Lord and those decisions will have some sorts of repercussions, from light-hearted and small-scale to haunting and large-scale. This is one of those games where your choices will affect the gameplay.

The game developer an example video where Drax suggested throwing Rocket across a ravine so that he may unlock the path forward for everyone; however, going along with his idea choice angered Rocket, and the game made a point to note it as a result.

However, Star-Lord might not be the strongest character among the Guardians, but the character is an agile character on the battlefield who can slide and hover thanks to the jet boots.

Well, the story of the game is a prime example of, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy takes place several years after the end of a massive galactic war, at a point where Peter Quill’s group has only been together for less than a year.

However, the guardians typically find start finding themselves short on money and have to come up with one of their crazed plans if they want to avoid losing their beloved ship. But in one bet between two of the Guardians, they cause a ‘very small accident’ which starts as relatively insignificant but slowly turns into something far more sinister. And their little mistake turns out to potentially threaten the whole universe, and yet again they have to take a stand to fix their mess.

The group will also have to face a mysterious order that aims to annihilate everything and everyone who dares to defy their beliefs. The villains of the game include some of the popular Guardians of the Galaxy villains along with others from the comics that are less well known.

Other news coming out of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is that the game will be a strictly single-player game, and the title will not receive any DLC or microtransactions.
