Manchester United starlet Marcus Rashford hits back against a property related article, published by Daily Mail.
The headline of the article was- ‘What a result! Campaigning football star Marcus Rashford has bought five luxury homes worth more than £2million.’
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is winning hearts every day on and off the field. Every human being is hailing Rashford for his great work outside the football pitch.
He has taken a resolution to end child hunger in the UK. The England striker forced the UK-government to take a U-turn on free school meals earlier this summer, which was admired by everyone around the world.
He was honored as ‘MBE’ for his campaigning work. But this kind of article is clearly an insult to him.
Marcus Rashford was unhappy with the article and responded on Twitter. He twitted, “Ok, so let’s address this,”.
“I’m 23. I came from a little. I need to protect not just my future but my family’s too. To do that I made a decision at the beg of 2020 to start investing more in the property. Please don’t run stories like this alongside refs to ‘campaigning’.”
Rashford followed that up with another tweet. In that tweet, he said, “Anyway, in nicer news, I’ve been working on a project for months now behind the scenes and I can’t wait to share it with you all next week.”
“It’s something I’m really proud of and something I feel our children need. Best get back to work on it. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!”
Media should be more conscious about their articles and should be respectful to players and to their personal life.
