Marco Reus has received an offer from LA Galaxy, with the German now available on a free transfer. The midfielder has left Borussia Dortmund after spending twelve years since his transfer in 2012, with his final match ending in defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

The 35-year-old bid an emotional farewell to the yellow wall in his final game at the Signal Iduna Park, and is now set to continue his career elsewhere.

The attacking midfielder has made 429 appearances for his boyhood club across all competitions, scoring 170 goals and providing 131 assists. With Dortmund, he has finished on the wrong side of the Champions League final twice, both at Wembley Stadium. However, he has still won the DFB Pokal twice, the DFB Super Pokal thrice and the German footballer of the year twice.

Injuries have played a huge part in deterring Marco Reus’ career, ruling him out of the World Cup and the Euros numerous times.

And now, he is close to following Olivier Giroud to Los Angeles, although clubs from Saudi Arabia are also interested in signing him.
