Manchester United are at the centre of a right-back domino as things stand. Denzel Dumfries is keen on joining United, but the Premier League club wants to offer them Aaron Wan-Bissaka in exchange for the Dutch international.
United are waiting on Wan-Bissaka’s decision, with the player yet to accept or reject an offer from West Ham United. As things stand, the Red Devils prefer to sell Wan-Bissaka and to bring in Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.

The 28-year-old is currently pushing back contract renewal talks with Inter Milan till after the transfer window ends. He is currently eyeing a transfer away, with Manchester United the priority in case of a departure.
Erik Ten Hag currently has Diogo Dalot as the starting right-back in his line-up, with the Portuguese performing quite well, too. Bringing in Dumfries or Mazraoui would surely increase the competition for playing time.
While Wan-Bissaka wants more playing time, which he could get at West Ham, a similar problem could be on the cards if Mazraoui joins, given his situation at Bayern. It’ll be interesting to see how this transfer domino plays out over the coming weeks.
