Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood, and Marcus Rashford scored in a 3-1 win over Brentford Friday night, providing Ralf Rangnick a much-needed boost following some recent struggles.

Rangnick has had a difficult time since taking over as interim manager, with certain performances leaving a lot to be desired, as well as the current Anthony Martial situation. Rangnick, on the other hand, has helped cement Man Utd‘s place in history with the club’s 300th Premier League victory away from Old Trafford.

Reaching the Major Milestone

The Red Devils came into the match on the back of a bad run in which they had surrendered a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Aston Villa. Ralf Rangnick’s side, on the other hand, was able to put their problems behind them and triumph 3-1 at the Brentford Community Stadium.

While United was far from their best, they did enough, particularly in the second half, to defeat a tenacious Brentford team. In the 55th minute, Academy graduate Anthony Elanga broke the stalemate, and Mason Greenwood doubled the lead in the 62nd minute.

Marcus Rashford, who came on as a substitute, put the game out of reach for the hosts, but Ivan Toney earned a consolation for Brentford with five minutes remaining. United made history with their victory, becoming the first English top-flight team to win 300 Premier League away games. Meanwhile, despite their comfortable victory, the Red Devils remain in seventh place on the log, just two points behind the top four.

They’ll be trying to build on their recent success in the forthcoming games, which include a home match against West Ham United on January 22. They’ll be trying to build on their recent success in the forthcoming games, which include a home match against West Ham United on January 22.
