Luther television series has already been learned about the upcoming film movie on the BBC and Netflix. Luther is mainly an upcoming Netflix Original film under the co-production with BBC Films. The director of the movie is Jamie Payne and penned by Neil Cross.
All the plans have been under a motion for Luther’s film since 2013 when the first scripts had written. The credit goes to the series not going to end until 2019, plans for the film take a back seat before the announcement in 2020. Cynthia Erivo is known for her work on Bad Times at the El Royale and Harriet. However, the new reports confirmed that Erivo will play the role of Luther’s nemesis. Dermot Crowley will return to play his role as Schenk.

In November 2022, Netflix confirmed that the film has set to release in March 2023, but the exact release date has not yet been confirmed by the team.

The film is mainly a co-production between Netflix and BBC Films, it’s still unclear if Luther will be available on Netflix UK.
