Luka Romero is set to sign a new contract with Lazio, since his current deal will run out in 2023. He recently scored his first Serie A goal in the win against Monza, which helped the team pick up an important win.

He was even recommended to PSG by none other than Lionel Messi – but his foreseeable future lies with Maurizio Sarri’s team.

The attacker recently turned 18, and was the youngest player to feature in La Liga – a record set in 2020. The left-footed winger made the move from Mallorca to Lazio in 2020 as well, for a fee worth around €200,000.

He joined Lazio’s academy at the time, and has impressed Sarri with his performances in training so far. And by the looks of things, he will be a player to keep an eye on for the future.

Luka Romero represents Argentina U-20, but was born in Victoria de Durango in Mexico, and was raised in Spain. He is yet to make his debut for the Argentina senior national team. But, if he gets consistent game time in Serie A, he could be called up by Lionel Saloni at some point down the line.
