Aston Villa have reached an agreement for the transfer of Lucas Digne with Everton. The French left-back has also agreed on personal terms with the Midlands club and will be travelling to Birmingham to finalise the transfer soon.

Lucas Digne set for Aston Villa medical soon
According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Lucas Digne and Aston Villa reached an agreement on personal terms this morning.
The two clubs have reached an agreement on a transfer fee worth €27 million, and the move will be a permanent one.
Although he has had a falling out with Rafa Benitez in recent weeks, he has been one of Everton’s key players over the last few years. He has more assists than any other player in the Everton squad and has consistently been one of the best in his position. Everton already have a replacement for the Frenchman, having recruited Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko earlier.
Aston Villa, on the other hand, continue their impressive performance in the transfer market this season. After signing Philippe Coutinho on loan, they have sealed a permanent transfer for Lucas Digne as well. But, they are not done just yet.
According to Sky Sports, Villa want to add Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma to their ranks this month. He is entering the final 18 months of his contract and would make a fine addition to Steven Gerrard’s squad.
