Love, Marriage, Divorce: Lee Min Jung and Kim Ji Suk’s New Drama Sets Its Date

Not every K-drama needs a fairytale ending to pull viewers in — sometimes the most gripping story is watching a marriage fall apart, honestly and realistically. “Fine, Let’s Get Divorced” has just locked its premiere date and rounded out its supporting cast, and the setup already feels refreshingly grounded.

Lee Min Jung and Kim Ji Suk: Premiere Details

The Marriage at the Center of It All

Lee Min Jung plays Baek Mi Young, CEO of wedding brand G&White. After losing her parents, she buries herself in work until Ji Won Ho — played by Kim Ji Suk — brings joy back into her life. They marry, but seven years in, the weight of running a company together while managing a crumbling home life pushes her to finally ask for a divorce.

Kim Ji Suk’s Ji Won Ho, meanwhile, proposed after just six months of dating, hoping to build the happy life he imagined. Watching that vision unravel over years of mounting conflict gives the drama its emotional core — this isn’t a villain-versus-victim story, just two people worn down by real life.

The Supporting Cast Adding Fuel to the Fire

The newly revealed cast brings plenty of complications:

• Lee Hyun Jin plays Calvin, Baek Mi Young’s charismatic first love and now a hotel CEO, who re-enters her life at the worst possible time.
• Lee Jini takes on Ahn Hee Joo, a lively Gen Z photographer who meets Ji Won Ho in Milan and slowly falls for him.
• Oh Yeon Ah steps into the role of Jeon Chi Hyun, a sharp divorce lawyer looking to rebuild her career by taking on Baek Mi Young’s case.
• Jung Eui Jae plays Kang Kyung Tae, Ji Won Ho’s loyal junior and closest confidant.
• Wang Bit Na rounds things out as Song Ah Ri, a divorced single mother and Baek Mi Young’s college friend, offering a knowing, been-there perspective on separation.

Why This One Feels Different

Setting the story inside a wedding dress business is a clever touch — the couple builds happy endings for other people while quietly losing their own. With a cast this stacked and a premise this relatable, “Fine, Let’s Get Divorced” looks positioned to be one of the more emotionally honest dramas of the season.
