Just when Love Class 3 let its idols catch a break, the show yanked it right back. Episodes 13 and 14 pile on scandal, heartbreak, and one genuinely alarming cliffhanger — proof that happiness in this drama always comes with an expiration date.

Jae Min Pays for a Scandal That Wasn’t His Fault
Just after clearing his name from an earlier scandal, Jae Min gets hit with fabricated messages reviving the same old rumor — a cheap shot clearly meant to hurt him. But instead of standing by him, the company’s CEO seizes the opportunity to look supportive publicly while quietly dropping Jae Min from both the group and the label entirely. It’s a gutting reminder of how disposable trainees can be treated within the K-pop idol system the show critiques throughout its run.
The one bright spot: Khun whisks Jae Min away to Thailand for a much-needed escape, even though the trip means confronting his own unresolved fears around a former stalker. It’s a tender detour in an otherwise brutal stretch of episodes.
The Debut Group Gets Shut Down Overnight
Just as the team finally finds real chemistry with fans, the company abruptly disbands it to focus solely on Hyun Jae’s solo debut — a decision Hyun Jae apparently knew about all along while still playing happy couple with Soo An behind closed doors. When Soo An confronts him, Hyun Jae turns cold and distant, refusing to explain himself, leaving Soo An questioning what was ever real between them.
Hyun Jae Disappears Without a Trace
The episode ends on its most jarring note yet: Hyun Jae goes missing, with the entire company scrambling to find him and no one — including Soo An — able to reach him. Whether he’s cracked under pressure, run away, or something worse happened remains completely unanswered heading into the next episode.
