Lola Young Drops Explosive New Album ‘I’m Only F**king Myself’ – A Bold Musical Statement

British sensation Lola Young has officially dropped her most daring project yet with the release of “I’m Only F**king Myself” on September 19, 2025. Following the global success of her hit single “Messy,” which topped charts in six countries and went double platinum in the U.S., this new album showcases a raw and unfiltered side of the London-born artist that’s both vulnerable and empowering.

The Album That’s Breaking All the Rules

Produced by her longtime collaborators Manuka and SOLOMONOPHONIC (known for work with Doja Cat and SZA), Young described the upcoming project on social media as “my ode to self-sabotage, my chance to claw myself back from the edge of defeat.” This third studio album represents Lola Young’s most personal work to date, diving deep into themes of self-destruction, healing, and personal growth.

The album is carried along by Young’s stark candor, which is balanced by her appealing personality all the way to the album’s end, when she signs off with a cheery “anyway, that’s the end of the album, goodbye!” after being sent over the moon by a pal’s freestyle.
