Logitech G Cloud: Here are all the Games the new Handheld offers

Recently, Logitech unveiled the G Cloud, a fully independent handheld designed solely to play cloud-based games. When it comes to cloud gaming, the entire idea is that you don’t need specific hardware to play. Thus, playing on your phone was just as simple to do as downloading cloud games on your PC or Mac.

With the introduction of the Logitech G Cloud, that is no longer an issue. The gaming handheld is designed primarily to play games via the cloud. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, which runs Android 11 at its core and includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of additional storage via microSD, is a given.

In addition, Logitech has given the gadget a gaming skin that allows it to run in a mode that displays all of the services you can use as well as locally downloaded games.

Logitech switches into gaming mode after you turn the device on and go through the setup process. GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming are the two primary gaming services that are already set up there. Both services are excellent and play to each one’s advantages.

The games you play on Steam or the Epic Games Store with GeForce Now must be yours. With that, you may access those games and play them utilising NVIDIA’s hardware and servers. The finest sessions might range from several hours to infinite playtime and an RTX 3080 experience, depending on the subscription package you choose.

You may choose GeForce Now, sign in, and start playing from the Logitech G Cloud home screen. A PWA (Progressive Web App) created by Logitech in collaboration with NVIDIA and the GeForce Now team was designed for the G Cloud. As a result, the GeForce Now experience functions flawlessly and every piece of hardware on the G Cloud functions normally with the service.

A beta PWA for the G Cloud was created by Logitech in collaboration with Xbox Cloud Gaming as an additional alternative on the platform. With Xbox Cloud Gaming, you may purchase an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription that gives you access to the whole service’s library of games without the need to purchase any of them separately.

Quantity is Xbox’s strong suit. You can play a tonne of games on the cloud with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. However, the service is not always very effective. Of course, Xbox Cloud Gaming on Logitech’s G Cloud is still in testing. You can experience lower streaming quality and a little bit longer input lag as a result when playing your games. Still, Xbox Game Pass is a great choice for the G Cloud and fits it perfectly.

Stadia was not included on the list of supported services when the Logitech G Cloud was first announced.

It was just recently revealed that Stadia would close its doors in the first quarter of 2023. Since it launched in 2019, the service has amassed a sizable catalogue. Until January 18, 2023, you can still access your Stadia games.

Another well-known name in the cloud gaming industry is Amazon Luna. You may play almost anywhere, including on the G Cloud, similar to GeForce Now or Xbox Cloud Gaming.

You must use Chrome on the G Cloud because it is not included. Go to amazon.luna.com after arriving and log in there. You can play games from the browser if you have a membership or are an Amazon Prime member. To put the Chrome instance in desktop mode, select the three dots menu. You’ll be allowed to play after that.
