Liverpool make first approach for Alexis Mac Allister of Brighton

Liverpool have made a proposal for Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, explaining their project to him this summer. The club is keen on signing 2-3 midfielders during the transfer window to strengthen their squad, and Mac Allister is one of the names alongside Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich and Mason Mount of Chelsea.

The World Cup winner is certain to leave Brighton this summer, but the only question is where he will end up. For the time being, Liverpool seem to be striding ahead in the race to land him.

The club has also made their financial proposal to him, and have started advancing on negotiations. But, nothing has been finalised with him as of yet. Other clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United and City are keeping tabs on Alexis Mac Allister. They haven’t made any contact with him as of yet.

Last night, the 24-year-old helped Brighton win a tight game against Manchester United with a last minute penalty to make it 1-0. He has been very influential for the Seagulls, as well as the national team, and is set for an exciting future ahead of him.

It now remains to be seen how expensive the move for him will be considering he has a contract until 2025, and Brighton have the opportunity to extend it for another year.
