LG Velvet 5G UW to have Verizon limited 5G network priced at $700

Are you waiting for the updates of LG mid-range smartphones? Then the wait ends here because LG will launch a mid-range handset LG Velvet 5G UW, with support of Verizon’s limited 5G mm-wave network. According to the tweet of George Koroneos, the phone is coming to Verizon on 21st August. The handset will be compatible with Verizon’s sub-6Hz 5G network.

George Koroneos announced a promotion offer for buyers. According to him, willing people can get this handset for $10 a month if they purchase it online with a new line of service on a Premium Unlimited Plan, this means that the new customers can get this phone for $240. The buyers also can exchange their old phone for the LG Velvet 5G UW and get up to $350 as the trade-in value. Both offers are available for the savings via monthly statements credits.

Specifications of LG Velvet 5G UW

The phone is coming with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with Adreno 620 GPU. It has 6.5 inch Full HD+ display with (1080×2340) pixel resolution.

This handset has a triple rear camera, aligned at the top left of the backside of the phone, with a 48MP primary sensor with LED flash, 8MP Ultrawide lens, and 5MP depth sensor. The camera offers with quad biking technology which marge 4 pixels into one picture. The camera also has voice out focused which separates the background unwanted voice from a video. The selfie camera is of 16MP.

LG Velvet 5G UW runs Android 10. The handset offers an 8GB RAM with the internal support with 128GB which can be expanded up to 1Tb by inserting a microSD card. The phone is empowered by a battery capacity of 4,300mAh with both wired and wireless charging support. It is still not clear about the fast charging but it may be available via wired charging only.

LG Velvet 5G UW is provided with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The speakers of the phone are Stereotype with AI sound which claims automatically analyze the content that being played and adjust the required audio quality accordingly. Leaked images refer that the phone will be available with an Aurora red glossy back color.
