LG reveals its smart TV portfolio for this pandemic year in India, there are multiple lineups having different screen sizes in each one. Resolution wise, we are going to get both 4K OLED and NanoCell models, along with 8K OLED and NanoCell models. Here are the details of each one.
LG 8K OLED & NanoCell TV Models
In LG’s new 8K OLED TV section the LG ZX is standing alone that priced INR 29,99,990. On the other hand, there is the Nano99 lineup that comes with 8K NanoCells and has two screen size variants – 65-inch and 75-inch. The prices of these two models are INR 4,99,990 and INR 10,99,990 respectively.
Coming to the common specs in the 8K OLED and NanoCell TV, LG’s Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor is powering all the three TVs and has an HDMI 2.1 through which users can take advantages of the NVIDIA RTX 30 series GPU’s along with the upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Point to note, the LG ZX has G-Sync support.
Apart from the 8K resolution, the TVs support Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and run on the WebOS developed by LG itself.
LG 4K OLED Models
This segment contains three lineups – LG GX which is one of the premium OLEDs with wallpaper design, LG CX – the successor of LG C9, and LG BX – the next version of LG B9.
The LG GX models are specially designed for wall mounting, only then the main beauty of GX will be utilized. This lineup has two screen sizes – 65 inches that priced INR 3,69,990 and 77 inches with INR 14,49,990 price tag.
Both the LG CX and LG BX are coming with the same design of C9 and B9 respectively. LG CX contains three modes with 55-inch (INR 2,19,990), 65-inch (INR 3,39,990), and 77-inch (INR 12,99,990). The LG BX, on the other hand, has two screen sizes i.e. 55-inch (INR 1,99,990) and 65-inch (INR 3,09,990).
The LG BX is powered by the Alpha 7 Gen 3 processor. The rest of the two is equipped with the Alpha 9 Gen 3. On top of that, has G-Sync support. Each one is running on the WebOS and comes with an HDMI 2.1 port, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos support.
LG 4K NanoCell Models
LG introduces three lineups in this section too. Those are Nano 91, Nano 86, and Nano 80.
The Nano 91 series contains three NanoCell technology included screen sizes of 55-inch that costs INR 1,55,990, 65-inch with the price tag INR 2,39,990, and 86-inch priced INR 4,89,990. All these models have full-array dimming, Alpha 7 Gen 3 processor, one HDMI 2.1, support for HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and runs on the same WebOS.
The next Nano 86 lineup has two screen sizes – 55 inches and 65 inches which cost INR 1,34,990 and INR 2,09,990 respectively. Specs like processor, OS, and other facilities are the same as Nano 91.
The last LG Nano 80 series lists three models of 49-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. The pricings are INR 88,990, INR 1,14,990, and INR 1,79,990. There is no HDMI 2.1, no Dolby Vision, or Dolby Atmos support. WebOS, support form Filmmaker Mode, HDR 10 Pro, and HLG Pro are the only specs to say.
