LG may not be working with its upcoming Rollable device

Previously, we have claimed that LG is working on its rollable device and in the CES 2021 event, LG has shared a short video of its rollable phone but according to a recent report, but there is now rising an uncertainty regarding the release of LG’s rollable phone.

According to the report of the Korea Herald, LG hasn’t decided regarding the launch of the expecting rollable device. Apart from the source news, the LG also reveals a statement, that ‘open to every possibility’. This statement indicates that the company may not be working with the rollable device.

The company is also said to be in talks to sell its smartphone business to Vietnam’s Vingroup Company, this company is the third-largest company in Vietnam that produces smartphones after Samsung and OPPO.

The company is also expected to end up keeping its smartphone business for a bit longer. If we look at some previous years, we can see that LG has been facing losses reportedly, and now the company doesn’t want to keep on losing money. The report says that LG has faced $4.5 billion since 2015.

According to the source, LG is decided to preserve their smartphone, and as well as they are also planning to keep making smartphones. It is expected that LG Wings may have won a CES Innovation Award, but unfortunately, the company faced a financial failure after selling less than 100,000 units since its launch.

Apart from this above information, we haven’t got any further details regarding this topic. But it is expected that LG rollable smartphone could be a hero for the company. The insiders believe that the company will use the rollable device as the leverage for boosting their sales division.
