Netflix just handed One Piece fans a surprise treasure chest. Alongside the new LEGO animated specials, the streamer quietly added a second season to its ONE PIECE: Bonus Content page, titled “LEGO ONE PIECE: More to Explore.” It’s a short, playful behind-the-scenes bite, according to What’s on Netflix.

Episode 1: Cast Unboxing

This is the fun one. The live-action Season 2 cast members see themselves as official LEGO minifigures for the first time, and the reactions are exactly as delighted as you’d hope. The lineup includes Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday/Robin), Callum Kerr (Smoker), Julia Rehwald (Tashigi), David Dastmalchian (Mr. 3), and Charithra Chandran (Miss Wednesday/Vivi). If it feels familiar, Netflix Anime shared a similar video last year, but this is an extended recut.

Episode 2: Behind the Voices

Ever wondered what the Straw Hats look like in a recording booth? This short featurette takes you inside Milestone Studios with the original cast, including a very energetic Iñaki Godoy as Luffy. Seeing the actors side by side with the finished LEGO animation is a treat. Manage your expectations, though: it doesn’t reveal much about the production, and nearly half of the four-minute runtime is end credits.

How It Fits the Bigger Picture?

The main LEGO special is a lighthearted appetizer while fans wait for Season 3 (The Battle of Alabasta). It’s narrated by Usopp and recaps the first two seasons with over-the-top brick humor. Showrunner Tom Hyndman said the cast adapted easily to voicing their characters because they’d lived with them for years, and the booth footage backs that up. The original Season 1 bonus content had five in-depth episodes on the show’s massive production, so this mini-season is a light dessert by comparison. If you want the story behind the story, the original One Piece manga is where it all began.
