The succession war is getting messier, the stakes are higher, and Hwang Jun Hyun is right in the middle of it all. Here’s your spoiler-packed preview of what’s coming next in Reborn Rookie!
Lee Jun Young Recap: What Is Reborn Rookie?
JTBC’s Reborn Rookie tells the story of Kang Yong Ho (Son Hyun Joo), the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choiseong Group, who after an accident finds himself living an unwanted second life when his soul is swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun (Lee Jun Young) — forcing him to start over as a rookie employee at his own company.
Think body-swap meets corporate thriller — and it’s every bit as addictive as it sounds.

What Happens Next? (Spoilers Ahead!)
Previously on Reborn Rookie, Hwang Jun Hyun emerged as a strategic kingmaker as the succession battle between Kang Jae Gyeong and Kang Jae Seong heated up. In an unexpected move, he put Kang Bang Geul — who had been laying low at the company — in the spotlight as a new candidate, setting off a chain reaction across the entire power structure.
That one bold move changed everything.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, the power players of the Choiseong Group family are now actively seeking out Hwang Jun Hyun as his influence within the company grows. Na Eun Se, who has replaced Kang Jae Seong in his executive role, greets Hwang Jun Hyun with a bright smile — extending her hand for a handshake without paying attention to the gazes of those around her.
Another still captures a tense conversation between Kang Jae Gyeong and Hwang Jun Hyun, raising the question of why Kang Jae Gyeong has personally sought out someone she would most likely never want to see again.
