According to a well-known tipster, Jon Prosser, Google might be launching their next smartphone very soon in the market. He tweeted that a new Google smartphone is set to be launched on 11th June 2021.
Later, he confirmed his own tweet by telling the name of the handset which will be unveiled. According to him, Google will be officially launching Google Pixel 5a on 11th June. This Google Pixel 5a is a successor of Pixel 4a which was launched in August 2020. That means, the US-based company won’t be taking one full year before launching the new version of the series.Â

The sources suggest that Google Pixel 4a was scheduled to launch a bit earlier last year but due to some issues it was forced to release later. But, Google does not want to delay the cycle of the whole series, thus, they will be coming out with the new Pixel 5a in June. The details about this upcoming device are not yer leaked, though, some sources expect the handset to sport a 6.2-inch OLED display and can come with a much stronger refresh rate.
Also, the punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera will be smaller. It might come with a 55-pixel radius instead of 65 pixels which was present on the Pixel 4a. This smaller cutout will be placed on the top-left corner of the front side.
Apart from this, there is some information on Google Pixel 6 as well. The punch-hole cutout in this device might be placed on the center and not on the right or the left side. The Pixel 6 will have support for 4K video shooting using the front-facing camera.
