Lava International Ltd has just announced a new product in India. The device in question is a new truly wireless earbud called the Probuds 2 that will seek to compete in the region’s highly competitive TWS market.
The Lava Probuds 2 features 14mm dynamic drivers that the company claims will deliver powerful bass; furthermore, the earbuds also arrive with an instant wake and pair technology and Bluetooth 5.0 that offers seamless connectivity.
The Indian electronic product maker’s new Probuds 2 offers up to 23 hours of battery life, along with the earbuds having 5 hours of audio playback while the charging base offers an additional 18 hours. The TWS earbuds also arrive with an IPX5 rating for sweat and water resistance.
Lava plans on launching the new wireless earphone on 26th August 2021 on its official online store, Amazon and Flipkart. The Probuds 2 will be available in India for 1,699 INR or $23, although the company is offering the Probuds 2 for 1,399 INR as part of an introductory offer. The buds support Google and Siri voice assistants alongside intuitive gesture controls.
Notably, with the launch of Probuds 2, the brand also announced a unique BYOB(Break Your Old Buds) contest, which will offer lucky participants a shot at winning a pair of free buds.
Participants have to register on the Lava website and pledge to break their old earphones (wired or wireless) to enter the BYOB contest. The winners will be decided via a lucky draw; the offer on the Probuds 2 will go live on 23rd August 2021 and end on 26th August 2021.
