Lava Agni 3 is set to launch in India on October 4th, confirmed by the brand as the successor to the Lava Agni 2, currently its top offering. Lava also released a teaser on X, calling the Lava Agni 3 a “Rule breaker” hinting at its disruptive entry into the Indian smartphone market and is expected to offer premium features at an affordable price.

A start feature that was leaked by tipster Abhishek Yadav for the device is likely a secondary display on the back panel. From the Lava’s reveal, fans can also see a large indentation on the rear panel, which could be the rumored secondary display. The phone is set to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and will run Android 14 out-of-the-box.

Lava Agni 3 is likely to be priced at around ₹25,000 and is one of the more competitive smartphone segments in India where it will compete with OnePlus Nord CE4, Vivo T3 Pro, and Nothing Phone (2a). The predecessor-model Lava Agni 2 had been received well by customers and the company expects to continue to impress as well.

Some key specifications include a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the Agni 2, and possibly a secondary rear display. It may also feature a quad-camera system with a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth cameras. Performance is expected to improve with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, and the device may offer 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Other features include a 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging, and it is likely to ship with Android 14.
