The Lava Agni 3 is scheduled to be released in India on October 4, and the brand has been slowly drip-feeding information about the smartphone before its launch. The Agni 3 also has a secondary display, similar to Mi 11 Ultra’s.

The all-new secondary screen will be placed at the back, next to the camera module, which doubles the functionality of the device. The 1.74-inch AMOLED panel will essentially function as a viewfinder and will also let users take selfies using the main camera. Besides this, the secondary display will enable users to answer calls, view notifications, and control music playback, making it a versatile tool for enhancing user experience.

The Upcoming Lava Agni 3

Lava Agni 3 also has a configurable Action button – much like the one recently introduced on the iPhone 15 Pro Series and the iPhone 16 series. Users will probably be able to set shortcuts for favorite apps or actions, enabling quick access and an individual touch.

Lava also confirms the Agni 3 will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chip, the same as the one in the Motorola Razr 50 foldable. Given it is from Lava, Agni 3 could prove to be among the best options in its associated mid-range price point with quite an impressive feature list. It will also integrate a 1.5K curved AMOLED display featuring a refresh rate of 120Hz, offering an impressive visual experience.

The Agni 3 will reportedly feature a triple-camera system with a 50MP primary shooter equipped with OIS (optical image stabilization), and a telephoto lens. Lava has also revealed that the smartphone will come with Dolby Atmos support which was missing in the previous Z-series devices as well.

As suggested by the teasers from Lava, the Agni 3 will be priced under ₹30,000. The Lava Agni 2 was priced at ₹21,999 for instance. Post the launch, Agni 3 will also be available for purchase on Amazon India.
