Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona was unlike anything the footballing world had ever seen, with many heralding Guardiola’s team as one of the best to ever take the field together, which was further proven by the amount of silverware that the former Barcelona player managed to bring to the club as a coach.

Messi’s previous interview with Goal revealed the Argentinian’s mindset during the summer, where he confirmed handing in a transfer request for a move away. He also talked about why the move did not go through, citing his family as one of the reasons behind his decision to stay at the club, along with his love for the club which prevented him from dragging the club to court.

The interview is scheduled to be released today, the 27th of December and it will surely provide the world with a lot of clarity regarding what has been going on at Barcelona and possibly what the future holds for the 6 time Ballon d’Or winner.
