Javier Hernandez has been officially added to the list of players who will miss the remaining season for Los Angeles Galaxy concerning injury. However, LA Galaxy hasn’t wasted a single bit of time and has found an immediate replacement for the player in the likes of Aaron Bibout.
Chicharito has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on June 7 in the quarterfinals of the US Open Cup against Real Salt Lake, and he needs to undergo surgery for which the remainder of the season will be missed by him. Also, on that note, Javier Hernandez’s contract expires at the end of this season, and it is also not known whether he will stay at the club or not, and it seems like LA Galaxy, concerning that problem, has already found a solution.
Aaron Bibout to play for LA Galaxy
To speak about Aaron Bibout is an 18-year-old forward who was chosen to fill the foreign player spot previously occupied by the 33-year-old Mexican striker. He joins the team from LA Galaxy II.
The Cameroonian prodigy has signed on loan for the remainder of the season with the Los Angeles club. Bibout had played 13 games for LA Galaxy II, all as a starter, where he scored eight goals, being the league’s second-top scorer. He also registered two assists.
Reports state that Aaron Bibout has also trained at the Kadji Sports Academy and was also named MLS NEXT Pro Player of the Day on Matchday 4 after scoring a hat-trick and the game-winning goal in Galaxy II’s 4-3 victory over Whitecaps FC 2 on April 16. It is to be seen how this young blood performs, especially in the place of Chicharito, and expectations are already high for him.
