Konami has delayed the release of the 0.9.1 patch to fix eFootball

Konami has completely revolutionized their Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) video game and has come up with eFootball, a free-to-play cross-platform video game based on football.

However, eFootball hasn’t turned out as it was supposed to be. The first version of the game deemed as the demo was launched with a range of problems, including glitches, poor AI, and some wildly inaccurate player models.

So, Konami promised to fix those issues with the release of the 0.9.1 patch on 28th October. Unfortunately, they have now decided to delay the release of the 0.9.1 patch until early November.

The tweet reads: “We would like to inform all users that we have decided to delay the release of version 0.9.1 to early November. We sincerely apologise for the delay and the inconvenience caused. Our hope is that the additional time taken will allow us to ensure the experience is improved for all of our users.

“We will announce the date and details of the fixes as soon as they are confirmed. In the meantime, we will continue to work on improving the game and look forward to working with you on eFootball 2022.”

Konami has a lot to improve if they want to challenge EA Sports’ FIFA series, which is the best football game currently. But sadly, things don’t look too good for Konami after their disastrous eFootball demo game.
