Every group remembers its first trophy. For KickFlip, it arrived on October 16, 2026, when “Puzzle Piece” took the top spot on KBS’s weekly music show. Fans have been waiting for this moment, so let’s break it down.
KickFlip Win : Overview
Music Bank is one of South Korea’s longest-running weekly music programmes. Its chart mixes digital sales, broadcast points and fan votes, so a win there means something. Here are the key details:

| Final score | 8,990 points |
| Runner-up nominee | N.Flying – “Still” |

A Close Fight Against a Seasoned Band
KickFlip didn’t win an easy contest. They faced N.Flying, a band with years of experience and a loyal fanbase. Beating a veteran act with “Puzzle Piece” shows how fast KickFlip’s momentum is growing. For a group chasing its first trophy, that makes the win feel even sweeter.
Who Else Hit the Stage?
It was a packed episode. Besides the winners, these artists performed:
| Artist | Song |
|---|---|
| SHINee’s Taemin | “FLOAT” |
| ALLDAY PROJECT | “CRASH” |
| BOYNEXTDOOR | “ANIMAL” and “Count To Love (Korean Ver.)” |
| Xdinary Heroes | “Obsessed with Youth” |
| CRAVITY | “LOUDER” |
| MODYSSEY | “CAN YOU HEAR THAT” |

| TAEKWONCHOREO | “A Magic Pocket” + “The Real” covers |

The mix of rookies, soloists and veterans made this one of the more varied lineups in recent weeks. Jannabi’s autumn-themed track suited the season, and TAEKWONCHOREO’s two-song cover medley was a fun twist.
Why This Win Matters?
A first win often changes a group’s trajectory. It brings more attention, bigger fan communities and better stage opportunities. If KickFlip keeps this pace, “Puzzle Piece” could be the start of a longer chart run.
