Kerala Blasters are the first finalists in the ISL this season, after defeating league winners Jamshedpur FC on aggregate. The second leg ended 1-1, but the Blasters progressed 2-1 on aggregate. Here are the three talking points from the game.

Adrian Luna brings it home for Kerala Blasters

Only 18 minutes into the game, the Uruguayan showed remarkable footwork and placed the ball into the right corner from well outside the box to open the scoring.

The Kerala Blasters captain put in a tireless performance throughout the game to ultimately help his team progress into the finals of the competition. As a result, he was named the Hero of the Match.

Second half revival not enough for Jamshedpur FC

The first half saw the league winners outplayed by their opponents. But, they came out of the tunnel with the right intent in the second period. Only five minutes after the break, Pronay Halder equalised for Jamshedpur FC to bring them back into the tie.

They only needed one more goal to force the fixture into extra time, but could not find a way past the resolute defending of Kerala Blasters in the end.

Sensational season comes to an end

No one would have predicted that Jamshedpur FC would go on to win the league title prior to the start of the season. Owen Coyle and his men put in a very strong effort from start to finish this year, and were rewarded with the top spot in the league.

They have also qualified for the AFC Champions League, but now end their season with a semi-final exit to the better team on the evening.
