The promo from The Great Indian Kapil Show’s Instagram started with Kartik Aaryan nervously saying, “I’ve never been this nervous before.” His mother, Mala Tiwari, interjected, declaring, “I will only speak the truth.” Kartik then jokingly pleaded with her, “Please say something positive about me.”

Kapil Sharma joined in with a quip, “If Mala Tiwari keeps such a close eye on her son, I wonder what she does to you,” referring to Kartik’s father, Dr. Manish Tiwari. Mala also took on the role of matchmaker, interviewing girls from the audience. When one mentioned she was a doctor, Kartik blushed.
