Kalinga Super Cup 2024 semifinals: Date, time, fixtures and how to watch revealed

Kalinga Super Cup 2024

The semifinals of the Kalinga Super Cup 2024 have been determined, with the group stage now finalised. The two semifinals will be played on 24th and 25th January at 7:30 pm on the Kalinga Stadium Main Pitch. 

The first semifinal will see East Bengal FC face off against Jamshedpur FC. The other semifinal will feature the defending champions Odisha FC against Mumbai City FC, in a huge match to determine the second finalist of the tournament. The winner will receive a spot in the new AFC Champions League 2 tournament – the second tier of Asian club football from the coming season.

The matches will be televised live on Sports 18 and will also be available to stream on Jio Cinema.

The winner from each match will face each other in the finals this Sunday, January 28 at the Kalinga Stadium.

With the form East Bengal captain Cleiton Silva and defender Hijazi Maher are in, the Red and Gold side will be expected to make it to the finals. On the other hand, it is anybody’s guess who wins the second semi-final between Mumbai City FC and Odisha FC. 

In addition, all teams will now be able to register Indian national team players now that India have been knocked out of the AFC Asian Cup 2023. These players could have a part to play in the finals if they have been registered in time.
