Fulham are close to completing negotiations for the transfer of Justin Kluivert from Roma. The player is keen on the transfer, and only wants to join the Premier League club. The two clubs are also in the final stages of discussions, and should wrap up the deal by today.
The Dutchman rose to prominence with Ajax, before making a move to Italy. But, things haven’t worked out for him as expected, and he is now on his way out of the club. He spent the last season on loan with French club Nice, scoring six goals in 31 appearances.
Fulham close to signing Justin Kluivert on loan with buy option
Personal terms are not an issue for the transfer. Only the loan fee and the price tag of the buy option needs to be finalised for the transfer to be sanctioned. Justin Kluivert will be the next addition for the Cottagers after Bernd Leno, Joao Palhinha, Manor Solomon, Kevin Mbabu and Shane Duffy.
Once the 23-year-old moves to London, Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto is expected to go all-in to bring Andrea Belotti to the club. The former Torino captain is still a free agent, and could finally join a new club in Roma.
With Tammy Abraham, Paulo Dybala, Nicolo Zaniolo and Belotti, Jose Mourinho will have an excellent attack at his disposal that could steer the team back into the Champions League.
