A billionaire chairman trapped in an intern’s body, wandering his own company like he owns the place — because he literally does. Reborn Rookie already looks like one of the most fun K-dramas of 2026.
What Is “Reborn Rookie” About?
Reborn Rookie follows Kang Yong Ho, the powerful chairman of leading conglomerate Choi Sung Group and a revered business genius, who after an accident finds his soul swapped into the youthful body of soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun — forcing him to restart life as a rookie employee at his very own company.
It’s a classic body-swap comedy setup, but with a sharp corporate twist: imagine knowing every secret of the company you built, while having zero authority to act on any of it.

What the New Teaser Reveals
The teaser opens with Hwang Jun Hyun stepping into Procurement Team 2 and immediately questioning the environment around him — reading internal dynamics and the company’s power structure within moments of arrival.
But the real comedy kicks in when his chairman instincts take over. He casually speaks informally to a senior department head and carries himself with complete fearlessness in front of top-level company presidents — leaving everyone around him utterly speechless.
That one teaser scene — a man in an intern badge behaving like he runs the boardroom — tells you everything about the tone this drama is going for. Sharp, funny, and surprisingly tense.
