It started with a red superbike on Instagram. Now Ducati executives are following Jungkook, reposting his content, and one even dropped a “Welcome to Ducati” caption — and the internet has completely lost it.
What Exactly Happened with BTS Jungkook?
On May 24, Jungkook posted a video on his personal Instagram with the caption, “Looking for someone to film this. Do you edit well too? Let’s go on a tour together.” The clip showed him riding a Ducati on a track in a custom outfit and helmet, navigating the course smoothly in a striking black-and-white edit. Starnews Korea
The response was immediate. The video surpassed 10.6 million views within two hours of its release and reached 23.7 million views within nine hours of being posted. Ducati’s global sales vice president followed Jungkook’s Instagram and reposted the video. Starnews Korea
And that wasn’t all. Marco Biondi, a senior Ducati executive focused on the Asia-Pacific region, shared Jungkook’s Instagram story featuring the new Ducati bike and captioned it with “Welcome to Ducati” — and also began following Jungkook on Instagram.

| Bike price | ~₩61 million (~$41,000 USD) |
| May 24 video views (9 hrs) | 23.7 million |

| Official deal confirmed? | No — still fan speculation |
| Jungkook’s current brand deals | Calvin Klein, Hublot (as of 2026) |
Why Are Fans So Convinced a Deal Is Coming?
Fans pointed out that Jungkook has never promoted the brands of bikes or cars he personally owns before — making this particular Instagram story feel deliberate and different.
His April 22 Hooligan motorcycle reel became the third most-reposted Instagram post in the platform’s history, sitting behind only Lionel Messi’s 2022 World Cup celebration and Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement. As of May 13, the post had reached 115 million views, 11.5 million likes, 2 million shares, and 2.5 million reposts.
With numbers like that, it would make perfect business sense for Ducati — one of Italy’s most iconic motorcycle manufacturers — to lock in an ambassador deal with someone who just proved he can move that kind of traffic with a single clip.
This pattern feels familiar to ARMY. Jungkook’s Calvin Klein and Hublot ambassadorships were also heavily speculated before they were officially confirmed — and both turned into landmark campaigns.
