As per our previous article, finally, Jio UPI ID makes its debut on the primary MyJio app, which in turn is the most needed Jio app and houses other features like Jio Cinema, JioSaavn, Jio Cloud, JioFiber and others. Previously, the service was available in some parts only while now it is accessible by Jio and non-Jio users across India.
Until now, the MyJio app had to rely on other third party UPI payment apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Amazon Pay and others. But with this inclusion of Jio UPI, users can directly use BHIM UPI to securely make payments from the app itself.
According to the company, Jio UPI ID will enable ‘MyJio app’ to become the one-stop, all-in-one super app for all digital transactions among Jio customers nationwide. Jio even plans to bring the UPI payment solution to its popular Jio feature phones as well.
This app addon would facilitate ease in transferring money and making online payments. Being included in the MyJio app, Jio UPI has just entered into the plethora of Jio services which is likely to expand over time. It also has some noteworthy features like Single Touch Jio Recharges, Personalized UPI handle, Quick and Easy Bill payments.
