Reliance Jio is currently a big name in the telecom market worldwide, even after its services are limited within Indian borders only. It disrupts the entire Indian telecom services and still following the same path. The stats are the major proof of it.
Through a fresh Media Release, the company reveals that it gains a gross of 25.1 million customers despite the coronavirus outbreak-related constraints and local issues. In terms of net subscriber addition, the mathematical figure goes up at 40 million in the calendar year (CY) 2020, and let you know, it’s the highest figure in the industry. In the 3rd quarter, a single consumer availed an average of 12.9GB of data per month and spend time on calls for 796 minutes in the same time span.
Coming to the monetary reports, the net profit of Reliance Jio is recorded as Rs. 3,489 crore in Q3, a 15.5% hike over the previous quarter. Alongside, the company bagged Rs.19,475 crore revenue from operations. It’s a 5.3% QoQ growth.
Throughout the quarter, Jio witnesses 1,586 crores GB of data traffic as well as 97,496 crore minutes of voice traffic which is 28.4% and 18.0% YoY growth respectively. All thanks to the 410.8 million user base till 31st December 2020.
There are more achievements left to discuss. One of the most important is Jio Platforms Limited got post requisite regulatory approvals for Google’s Rs.33,737 crore investment.
