He said he’s witnessed this playful, “inner child-like” side of Vijay at home but noticed that over the years, the actor moved away from full-fledged fun and relatable roles. If Jason ever gets the chance to direct his father, reviving that humor is exactly what he wants to explore.

Jason also revealed a valuable piece of advice from his grandfather, veteran director-actor SA Chandrasekhar. Rather than discussing story details, his grandfather told him to never show doubt or hesitation on set — a lesson in confidence Jason has carried into his debut. He also credited both his father and grandfather for instilling strong work ethics, particularly punctuality.

Sigma follows Guru, a rogue treasure hunter and radio host who plans an elaborate heist after a betrayal costs him everything, going up against a Rs 500-crore crime racket. The film also stars Faria Abdullah, Sampath Raj, Shiv Panditt, and Yog Japee.
