‘Jailer 2’ Drops First Single ‘Ala Bolelo’ — Anirudh’s Kerala-Tamil Fusion Magic!

Rajinikanth’s next mass entertainer just got its festive anthem. Jailer 2 has unveiled its first single, “Ala Bolelo,” and Anirudh Ravichander is blending Tamil and Malayalam beats to set the mood for Dussehra.

What’s the Buzz About?

Composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander, “Ala Bolelo” is written by Arunraja Kamaraj — the same lyricist behind the viral “Kaavaalaa” from the first Jailer. With portions of Jailer 2 shot in Kerala, the track’s musical fusion mirrors the film’s setting, and actors Shamna Kasim and Rajesh Madhavan make special appearances in the visuals.

A Star-Studded Sequel in the Making

Ahead of its Dussehra release, the makers also dropped a 55-second promo that opens with Vinayakan’s final Jailer dialogue, hinting his character’s actions were tied to a much bigger network. The sequel sees Muthuvel face even larger threats alongside a massive ensemble — Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa, and Yogi Babu return, while Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vidya Balan, and SJ Suryah are expected in key roles.

Rajinikanth isn’t slowing down after this either — he’s set to headline Dharman, co-produced by Kamal Haasan, and later reunite with Haasan for a tentatively titled project helmed once again by Nelson Dilipkumar.
