According to Pinkvilla’s trade estimates, Rajinikanth‘s film collected roughly Rs 52.75 crore on Tuesday. That’s an increase of nearly 10 percent over Monday, thanks to the holiday. The six-day total now stands at approximately Rs 325 crore.

Where the Film Is Strong
The regional numbers are impressive:
- Telugu states, Karnataka and Kerala: each has grossed over Rs 50 crore. The only other Tamil film to manage that was the original Jailer.
- Hindi belt: the Hindi-dubbed version has also impressed, and with the Tamil version included, the region should eventually reach Rs 50 crore.
- Tamil Nadu: it started a little low but is now among the top earners and should cross Rs 200 crore.
What Comes Next?
The holiday period ended on Monday, but there’s expected to be a little leftover boost on Wednesday, with things settling back to normal on Thursday. Even so, the film has strong momentum, so collections should stay healthy. Pinkvilla says it is racing to become the biggest Kollywood film of all time, though where it lands on the overall list is still to be seen.
