After a groundbreaking 19/20 season with Borussia Dortmund, Jadon Sancho seems to have hit a plateau on the pitch. The youngster has himself confessed that the rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United are partly to blame for the drop in form.Â
The summer transfer window of 2020 was filled with rumours linking the former Manchester City winger with a return to the city, only this time, to don a red jersey. However, despite there being reports of personal terms being agreed between the player and the club, Sancho ended up staying in Germany.
Speaking on the highly anticipated next destination for the English wonderkid, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio said on their Here We Go podcast that the race for Sancho would be on next summer.
The winger is expected to stay at Dortmund during the January transfer window, mainly since no club is willing to spend in excess of €100 million in the middle of the season especially due to the current financial situation worldwide.
Right now, Sancho’s main focus is regaining his best form at Dortmund and to help the club challenge for the league title once again, along with possibly making it deep into the Champions League knockout stages as well.
